Focus
What you have or what's missing?
The past? The present? The future?
Discover where your focus is? Ask yourself these questions:
Although we may believe we are constantly driving the direction of our focus, the uncomfortable truth is much of our focus time is spent dwelling on what we don't want or fear may happen. By allowing ourselves to imagine or feel negative outcomes, we inform our bodies and mind to prepare for exactly this — what we don't want, rather than what we do.
The honest answers to these questions will reveal your true pattern and focus.
Words have a biochemical effect on the body. How you talk to yourself determines how you operate in the world. If you ask questions like "Why do bad things always happen to me?" Instead of "What can I do to better my situation?" You are more likely to feel powerless and lack motivation in your own life. How you use language determines what emotions you feel and how motivated you will be.
What are you saying to yourself consistently?
Language
Do you feel your language is more positive or negative?
Ask yourself …would you talk to another person the way you talk to yourself?
Discover your language:
Get into the habit of mindfully assessing your emotional state and change what isn't promoting the positive emotional and mental state you desire. The more you monitor your STATE, the more sustained motivation you will have.
Do you have certain words or mantras you say? Example: "I cant", "why does this always happen to me"
